A service plan for your heating system is like health insurance for your body—with wellness care included. That’s because our master tune-ups are included at no extra charge.

P. Gagnon & Son’s Comfort Plans help eliminate surprise repair bills, prevent equipment problems, extend equipment life and keep your system running more efficiently, which means you use less fuel and save money on heating bills. We offer plans for both oil and propane heating systems.
Big savings on repairs

An outstanding benefit of our Comfort Plans is that they provide comprehensive repair coverage for both parts and labor.

Our Comfort Plan covers nearly 70 parts, while our Total Comfort Plan provides coverage for 100 different items. Just about anything that could conceivably go wrong on your heating system is included. You can’t find any better protection than this.

Emergency service 24 hours a day
As a Comfort Plan customer, you are also entitled to priority emergency service 24 hours a day.
$50 in Loyalty Credits
Every time you renew your Comfort Plan, we will reward you with $50 in Loyalty Credits. You can build up as much as $500 in credits, which you can apply toward the purchase of new equipment from us. That’s something to think about if your heating system is getting up in age.
Optional coverage for water heaters
For a few dollars each month, you can add coverage for your oil or propane water heater. Coverage includes burner parts, the aquastat and other controls, and the emergency switch. Annual maintenance is included as well. You can request this coverage when you enroll in a heating system service plan.
TankSure®, a tank protection program, can also be included in your service plan.

Heating systems operate for months on end and need regular maintenance—just like your car. Regular maintenance keeps your system working at peak efficiency and also gives our technicians a chance to catch minor wear and tear before it turns into major trouble down the road.

A heating tune-up keeps your burner working efficiently, which can cut annual fuel use by as much as 10%. It also ensures that your system operates safely.
The best time to schedule your tune-up
Some customers wait until fall and the first cold temperatures to ask us for a tune-up. Unfortunately, that’s a busy time for us because we’re also responding to our first wave of no-heat calls.

That’s why we encourage you to schedule your tune-up between April 1 and Labor Day. It’s easier to get a convenient service appointment during the warm weather months.

Please keep in mind that tune-ups do not wear off. So even if your system is tuned up a few months before the heating season, it will still be in top condition and ready to go when you turn it on in the fall.

We try to call or send reminder cards to all of our customers to schedule their annual tune-ups in the spring and summer.  However, you can make scheduling more convenient for yourself if you contact us with a time that works best for you.
Tank Protection
Our TankSure® program eliminates oil storage tank worries. This program gives you:
an annual tank inspection
protection against corrosion
a $1,000 tank replacement warranty
Preventing fuel problems with UltraGuard
Plugged nozzles, clogged filters and pump screens can impede the flow of oil in your heating equipment, leaving you with an inefficient system—or worse, causing your system to shut down.

That’s why, before we deliver any oil to your tank, we treat it with a special blend of additives called Beckett UltraGuard. This prevents the buildup of impurities like sludge in your oil storage tank.
Most additives contain solvents, but UltraGuard does not. If solvents are used to treat oil, in older systems they will cause sediment to break free and clog components.
When we started delivering UltraGuard, we experienced a 20%-30% reduction in fuel-related service calls in the first year of use. Now, problems related to clogged filters and lines have virtually been eliminated!
Because it reduces impurities in your fuel, UltraGuard makes your system run cleaner and more efficiently, lowering fuel consumption and emissions. That’s good for your wallet and the environment. UltraGuard also extends the life of your tank because it contains corrosion inhibitors and built-in cleaning agents.
Because we feel strongly that every one of our customers should benefit from this fuel enhancement, we provide it to all our customers at no extra charge.
