Darlene Fenstermaker just marked her 15th anniversary as a P. Gagnon & Son employee. Like many of our employees, she wears multiple “hats,” but the bulk of her day is spent interacting with customers, either in person or on the phone. People call for fuel deliveries, to request service or to ask questions about programs. “I like the idea of helping solve energy issues or trying to help our customers understand how our price protection programs work,” says Darlene. She adds that many customers ask for her by name.
When she is not at work, Darlene likes to go fishing with her husband. They go for bass, trout or “whatever’s biting,” she says. The bonus, Darlene says, is that her husband cleans and cooks everything they catch.
